Kieron Pollard, the batting coach for the Mumbai Indians, has addressed the discussions surrounding Rohit Sharma's slow start in the IPL, emphasizing that the star player should not be evaluated based on a few disappointing performances.

Rohit, who has led MI to five IPL championships, has struggled in the current season, scoring 0, 8, and 13 runs. Pollard remarked, "Rohit has made significant contributions to cricket history across various formats. He is a true legend, and we shouldn't judge him solely on a few low scores."

Pollard expressed confidence that a significant innings from the 37-year-old is imminent and urged against placing unnecessary pressure on him. "Every player experiences slumps. Rohit is enjoying his game without feeling overwhelmed.
